Aims and Scope

The journal “Вулканология и сейсмология / Journal of Volcanology and Seismology” is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes articles on volcanic, seismic, geodynamic, and magmatic processes occurring in island arc regions and other active regions of the Earth.

The journal “Вулканология и сейсмология / Journal of Volcanology and Seismology” covers contemporary terrestrial and submarine volcanic activity, the evolution of volcanism in Earth's history, the petrology of extrusive rocks, the origin of magmas, the geochemistry of volcanic and post-volcanic processes, seismological observations, earthquake physics, and more. The journal is intended for volcanologists, seismologists, geologists, geophysicists, geochemists, and readers of other specialties interested in the problems of volcanism, seismicity, and deep processes in volcanic regions.

The transfer of rights to a composite work – the journal "Вулканология и сейсмология / Journal of Volcanology and Seismology" – or its individual parts (materials, publications) is possible with the consent of the copyright holder on a contractual basis in the manner established by the legislation of the Russian Federation.
